2016 Guest Instructor: Nate Chambers is a professional Muay Thai fighter having fought over 20 professional fights in his career. He has trained out of Las Vegas for over ten years with trainer Mark Beecher of Hyena Muay Thai and he has taken several trips to Thailand to train and fight. His trainers in Thailand include Samart Payakaroon and Lamnammoon Sor Sumalee. Nate has competed at Rajadamnern Stadium in Thailand and has fought for Thai Fight, Max Muay Thai, Muay Thai Warriors, and Burmese Bare Knuckle Boxing/Lethwei. His intensity and passion for Muay Thai make him not only an incredible competitor but he is also an amazing coach and instructor.

Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing, originated in Thailand 2,000 years ago. This kickboxing style of fighting is the national sport of Thailand and is known for its powerful techniques of punching, elbows, knees, and kicks. Not to be confused with mainstream cardio kickboxing classes, Muay Thai classes will involve the use of padwork, heavy bag training, footwork skills, shadowboxing, and various partner coordination skills.
